As the real estate market has heated up, there are many more multiple offer situations with more than one buyer competing to get their offer accepted. There is lots of advice on what to do in this situation so that your offer moves to the front of the line but most of it doesn’t work. I particularly have to snicker at all the Realtors who tell you to write a nice letter telling the sellers that you felt a wonderful vide as soon as you entered the home and that your family will give the house a good home. Maybe I am running into heartless sellers but my experience has been that sellers are interested in how much you are offering and how safe your offer is…that is what are the chances that the deal will go through.
